About Malta Citizenship by Investment Program
The Maltese Exceptional Investor Naturalisation Policy was introduced by the government and began accepting applicants in 2020, following the closure of the Maltese Citizenship by Investment program.
To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria: be at least 18 years of age, in good health, and have a clean criminal record. Additionally, they are obligated to make a combined investment in a real estate project, make contributions to the government, and invest in stocks, bonds, or debentures.

Step 4
After obtaining your residency status, the next step involves submitting a citizenship application to the government, along with the requisite government fees. Subsequently, the Maltese Government will conduct a comprehensive background check, which typically takes approximately 6 months to complete before a final approval is granted.
