Process
At Bellevue Sovereign Partners, the typical duration for the application process spans approximately six months. The initial phase, involving document collection, varies in time based on the applicant’s efficiency in compiling the necessary documents. Our team facilitates this phase by offering guidance, examples, and expert advice.
The review stage is dependent on the Government’s timeline and may be influenced by external factors beyond our control as authorized agents. Bellevue Sovereign Partners works closely with the Government throughout the process, striving to ensure a rapid and seamless experience for the applicant
Step 1
Bellevue Sovereign Partners will conduct an initial review of your passport copy to seek government pre-approval. To initiate your application, you will need to make an initial payment towards professional fees. You can expect a response within 24-48 hours.
Step 2
Once you have chosen your property and signed the reservation agreements, the next step involves signing the naturalization application in Cyprus or at the Embassy, as required.
Step 3
Our professional team will diligently prepare all the necessary property documents, conduct thorough due diligence on the selected property, and draft the sales agreement. Your next steps involve signing the sales agreement, submitting it to the land registry, and fulfilling the purchase price payment.
Step 4
Our dedicated team will provide guidance and support in gathering the essential documents necessary for your naturalization application. As part of the revised criteria introduced in September 2016, it is a requirement for you to personally visit Cyprus to apply for a PR (Permanent Residency) permit.
Step 5
The examination and approval process for naturalization typically takes around three months.
Step 6
As per the updated criteria introduced in September, a waiting period of six months is necessary from the date of acquiring the Immigration Permit. After this waiting period, you will be expected to visit Cyprus to take the oath of allegiance. Following this, the remaining professional fees must be settled. Subsequently, you will be granted Cypriot passports and ID cards.
Cyprus Citizenship by Investment Costs
The Cyprus Citizenship Program has become one of the swiftest in Europe, operating in accordance with the “Scheme for Naturalisation of Investors in Cyprus by Exception” as outlined in Section 111A (2) of the Civil Registry Laws of 2002-2013, and further established through a Council of Ministers decision dated March 19, 2014. This legislative framework, which was enacted on May 24, 2013, according to subsection (2) of Section 111A of the Civil Registry Laws of 2002-2013, empowers the Cyprus Council of Ministers to grant naturalization-based citizenship to foreign entrepreneurs.
These policies promote favorable immigration conditions and facilitate the process of acquiring Cypriot Citizenship by Investment. The new regulations have streamlined the entire procedure, reducing both the time and formalities involved.
Furthermore, the law extends the privilege of Cypriot citizenship to the spouse and financially dependent adult children of the investor. Importantly, neither the spouse nor the children are required to fulfill any additional financial criteria.
